Colson Kelly, also known under the alias Machine Gun Kelly, has distinct rapping styles. Baker was born on the 22nd of April, 1990, in Houston Texas U.S. into a family of English Scottish and German descent. As a child Baker spent a large deal of time traveling along with his parents who were missionaries. James Colson Baker battled depression and joblessness, and his mom Sonia Alane dumped him at age 9. Baker moved to Denver along with his father, and stayed for a time. Baker had to endure bullying from other youngsters because of his poor status. The first time he heard hip-hop was as he began sixth class. Colson Kelly (also known as Machine Gun Kelly) was born April 22 1991 in Texas. The music he creates is a fusion of modern hip-hop and alternative, as well as rock. Baker was signed to Bad Boy Records in 2010, released four mixes between 2007 and 2010. After delivering lyrics faster than bullet trains, this Cleveland artist saw an explosive climb to fame in the year. He went from releasing self-released cassettes, to the signing of labels.
