Bashar Barakah Jackson (July 20, 1999 - - February 19, 2000) was professionally known under the term Pop Smoke, was an American rapper and songwriter. Victor Victor Worldwide signed him. He also recorded for Republic Records. Pop Smoke gained acclaim for his Brooklyn drill style after working with UK drill producer 808Melo Axl Beats, Yoz Beatz and 808Melo Axl Beats. Welcome to the Party, the lead single from his debut mixtape Meet the Woo released in the summer of 2019, was released by him on April 1, 2019. The song was remixed by American rapper Nicki Minaj and British musician Skepta. Both songs came out in the month of August, 2019. Pop Smoke's debut mixtape Meet the Woo was released by Pop Smoke in April 2019. The track Welcome to the Party is the album's main track. The song was recorded and remixed by Nicki Minaj in the first version, as well as Skepta in the second version and released on August of this year. The song was noted due to its use of UK drill production later commonly found in his discography. This was because of the frequent collaborations with 808Melo who was an British drill maker.
